A New Year

Happy New Year!!! I have been very busy trying to get a job. I'm not enjoying the waiting game. I am so praying I get a job very soon. In the mean time I have been busy doing graphic and web designs for church. I have done a couple headers they wanted redone. My recent creations is for Souper Bowl Sunday. They are donating non- parishable food to a local charity Super Bowl weekend. I came up with a concept idea for that weekend.

Power Hour

A good way of trying to keep our minds creative. My boss has come up with this power hour where each of us get fake copysheets. We have an hour to do it and the best part is we get to be creative. Yeah!!! So I thought I would post my ad I did today.

Wedding Invitations

The wedding invitations are complete. I still have a couple to put the ribbon in. But for the most part they are finished & I'm very pleased how they turned out. The true test is how the bride like's them. Her mom & I have been working together to get them finished. It's kind of hard to see in the picture how they really look with the velum overlay, but in person they are very pretty.

I love weddings

.... that is wedding invitations. I got the opportunity to make wedding invitations for a friend. She came over and we designed them together. I started the design with a twist of her touch. I have the insert card done & still working on the invitations. I really like the colors she has too. The reason why I like doing wedding invitations is a combination of my two passions. Scrapbooking & being a graphic artist.
